M&E company wins major maintenance contract with 33 Waitrose stores
A Cambridge-based M&E company has won a major maintenance contract with 33 branches of the food giant Waitrose.
Kershaw Mechanical Services will be maintaining the mechanical services systems for the stores over the next three years.
“This is proof of a great partnership that has been built up over a number of years,” said Gary Smith, the managing director of Kershaw Mechanical Services.
“We have worked with Waitrose for a number of years, installing these systems when they built new stores and converted acquired stores.
“Kershaw has already been maintaining the systems in six Waitrose stores. To have that contract extended to a further 27 stores is amazing news, and we are very pleased to be developing our partnership with Waitrose.”
Kershaw Mechanical Services operates a 24 hour maintenance service from its bases in Cambridge and Stourbridge (West Midlands).
It is the lead company of the successful Kershaw Group, which employs a total of 183 people.
