New £10m swimming pool among latest orders for M&E company
A well-known M&E company will be helping to construct a new £10m public swimming pool.
It’s among an impressive series of new contract wins just announced by Kershaw Mechanical Services.
They include a major refurbishment project at Papworth Hospital in Cambridge.
In total, the new contract wins add up to more than £2.65m worth of new business.
Ian Greenstock is the Sales Director for Kershaw Mechanical Services, which has a head office in Cambridge.
He said: “Like most businesses right now we’re keeping our heads down and focusing on what we need to do to thrive through this recession.
“These new contract wins are fantastic, and we are looking forward to working with these contractors on these major projects.”
Kershaw Mechanical Services will be doing £2m of mechanical and electrical services for the new swimming pool in Southend.
It will also be refurbishing mechanical systems at Papworth Hospital, in a contract worth £650,000.
Kershaw Mechanical Services is the lead company of the successful Kershaw Group, which employs 183 people and has its head office in Cambridge.
The group is a major sponsor of Cambridge United and recently announced a record 10th year of sponsorship.
Kershaw Mechanical Services has also sponsored the Cambridgeshire Football Association Premier Leagues – known as the Kershaw Leagues – for 19 years.
It recently renewed the sponsorship to 21 years, thought to be the longest continuous sponsorship in football.
