Works underway at Dover Cineworld development
November 06 2017
Kershaw Mechanical Services are delighted that works are underway for the mechanical installation for the new Cineworld Cinema, based in Dover.
Kershaw will be providing a full mechanical service installation including a building management system, air conditioning and heating and ventilation for the six screen cinema, which will be the anchor of the new St James Development, and was the first structure to be erected at the Townwall Street site.
Ian Greenstock, Sales director, Kershaw Mechanical Services, said “The St James development will bring state-of-the-art leisure and retail facilities to Dover, and it is great to see that Cineworld will be part of this. This will be the fifth Cineworld Cinema we have worked on in 2017 alone, which is testament to Cineworld’s continued success and the strength of our long standing relationship with them”
The £53 million St James scheme, which is being developed by Bond City and funded by Legal and General, forms part of Dover District Council’s wider regeneration of the town. In addition to the Cinewolrd Cinema it will also include a hotel, restaurants and retail outlets.
Phase one of the development is due to be opened to the public in Q1 2018.
