Kershaw Mechanical Service has demonstrated its commitment to providing an exceptional level of service to its clients via its Service and Maintenance team who have recently invested in a state-of-the-art field service management solution.
The package from Joblogic is designed to connect the back office, mobile workforce and customers creating a simple, clear and streamlined service for the team’s clients.
This paperless system enables the mobile engineers in the field to manage and plan their day via the use of an android app which links directly with the office-based system. This live reporting facility ensures a conduit between the planned preventative (PPM) administration, Helpdesk team and all planned and reactive works.

Richard said “In the past, we have had engineer downtime due to the fact they would have to make trips to the office in order to complete and submit paperwork – this meant fewer resources to serve our clients. They are now able to do all of this remotely – meaning we have more engineers available at any one time to respond to emergency call-outs or carry-out scheduled maintenance. It is really important to us that we are able to serve our customers quickly and efficiently – this system enables us to do that. It also provides a paper trail of all works carried out – which can be quickly downloaded and provided to the client should they ever need it for their records”
