Kershaw’s Quarter of a Century Sponsorship

June 30 2015

Cambridge based building services company, Kershaw Mechanical Services Limited is this season celebrating 25 years of league sponsorship with the Cambridgeshire County League.

At the end of the season all clubs attended a dinner at Menzies Hotel & Golf Club at Bar Hill where they received their awards for the season, and enjoyed entertainment from guest speakers including the 2015 FA Cup Final & Premier League referee Jon Moss, former Chelsea player Ron “Chopper” Harris and ex-Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion and Cambridge United player, Brendon Batson.

Cambridgeshire FA Chief Executive Chris Pringle said “We have a very enjoyable relationship with Kershaw. They have been involved in local football for many years and we are delighted they have spent 25 years with us. The dinner is an opportunity for us and the clubs to thank Kershaw for supporting our league. With the fantastic guests we had lined up this year it was a special occasion to mark this impressive milestone.”

Kershaw Mechanical Services Director Ian Greenstock commented “Supporting the Cambridgeshire FA over the past 25 years is one of the ways in which we, as a company, are able to fulfil our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and community engagement. Sponsoring and encouraging this popular local sport is Kershaw’s way of putting something back into grass roots football” he added.

The dinner took place on Friday 5 June.
