Kershaw Wins Willmott Dixon Sub-contractor of the Year 2013
April 17 2013
Kershaw Mechanical Services Ltd is celebrating after winning the coveted accolade of Willmott Dixon Sub-contractor of the Year. The award ceremony took place at Willmott Dixon’s Annual Supply Chain Conference, this year held at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield.
The award is in recognition of Kershaw’s successful completion of the full M&E installation into the two new academies - Bedford and All Saints, Dunstable - which were carried out in 2012. The Cambridge based building services company was singled out for its quality of installation, proactive approach and excellent Health & Safety record on the design and build projects.
Kershaw Mechanical Services has worked for Willmott Dixon on a number of contracts including the new Hatfield Police Station and Magistrates’ Court, new primary academies in Parkfield and Hyde, North London and, most recently, the new academies in Bedford and Dunstable.
Ian Greenstock, Sales Director for Kershaw, who accepted the award on the company’s behalf, said “We consider it an honour to have won this prestigious award as the standard of sub-contractors working with Willmott Dixon is very high and we were up against representatives from almost all the different professional trades engaged on construction projects.” “We pride ourselves on investing in training, so that we have the right people and skills for the jobs, and on our commitment to continuous improvement which enables us to deliver the high standard of service our partners expect from their supply chain” he went on to explain.
