Kershaw Mechanical Services Successfully transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015

Kershaw Mechanical Services are delighted to have successfully completed their transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards - further reinforcing their position as a market-leading building services company. 

ISO 9001 is the standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system, helping businesses be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction – something that is at the heart of Kershaw Mechanicals ethos.  The new standard, which replaces the ISO 9001:2008 standard was updated to account for changes in the way organisations do business: the increasing complexity of the supply chains and the increased expectations from customers.

ISO 14001 sets the standards for an organisations environmental management system, which helps to monitor and manage resources and environmental impact. ISO 14001:2015 replaces the previous ISO 14001:2004 standard and has been updated to respond to the latest trends in environmental management. The updated standard has additional requirements, which include identifying and understanding the context of the organisation; leadership; strategic environmental management; risk associated with threats and opportunities; life-cycle thinking; value chain controls; performance evaluation.
