Kershaw in Big Screen Close-up

November 12 2013

The recently opened Cineworld complex - part of the new, 350,000 sq ft London Designer Outlet next to Wembley Stadium - is the latest in a long line of successful mechanical services installations completed by Kershaw Mechanical Services for its client, Cineworld.

The nine-screen cinema sits on the fourth and fifth floors of the Outlet, an exciting mix of designer and high street shops, cosmopolitan restaurants and bars which forms part of an 85 acre regeneration project on the land surrounding Wembley Stadium.

The mechanical installation for the nine-screen cinema, which has a Starbucks café, includes a full Building Management System, air conditioning and, for the first time, heat provision to the building using the developer’s district heating main with LTHW heater batteries.

Ian Greenstock, Kershaw Mechanical Services’ Sales Director said “This is the sixty-sixth new build cinema project Kershaw Mechanical Services has delivered for Cineworld over the last 18 years, and we are extremely proud to have the second largest cinema chain in the UK as a longstanding client.”  Adding “We are also delighted to be carrying out the mechanical installation works for the new Cineworld in Gloucester Quays, due to open later this year.”
