Kershaw Group Looks to the Future
November 14 2013
The Cambridge based Kershaw Group has its sights firmly set on the future, having recently moved its three construction companies into the same office building for the first time in the Group’s 125 years plus history.
The acquisition of its own Headquarters means the Group is now better placed to accommodate the growth in business and personnel it has experienced over the last few years. At the same time, it has taken the opportunity to upgrade its ICT infrastructure, and improve the working environment both for visitors and staff with new meeting rooms and presentation equipment, hospitality facilities, and a state-of-the-art heating and ventilation system.
The companies now co-located at the new premises in Waterbeach are: Kershaw Contracting Services – Green Deal approved installers of energy saving solutions for domestic and commercial properties, Kershaw Mechanical Services – providers of Mechanical and Electrical HVAC building services design, installation and maintenance solutions, and T R Freeman – experts in the design and installation of all aspects of traditional and modern roofing and cladding, as well as on-going refurbishment and maintenance.
Group Managing Director, Mark Finlay explained “The move offers great benefits for the Kershaw Group and we’re confident that these will be reflected in the services we deliver to our clients. Our new working environment encourages the pooling of expertise and raising of standards, the cross fertilisation of ideas and opportunities, and enhanced information and intelligence sharing across all our Group companies.”
