Kershaw Mechanical Services are looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing maintenance division.
We are a leading Mechanical and Electrical company which designs, manufactures, installs and commissions & maintains commercial building services on major projects in the UK.
As a mobile-based role, a fully expensed van will be provided and your work will be geographically varied mainly within Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and North London (within 1-2 hour radius of Cambridge).
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
You will be an experienced service engineer specialising in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration maintenance with up to date commercial F Gas qualifications. Experience in the service/maintenance industry is essential and the role will be client facing meaning a high level of customer service skills are required.
Typically you will be completing Air Conditioning servicing on a variety of different systems and reacting to call-outs as and when they occur. As such you will need to be experienced in fault finding and be flexible in your approach to work. Other routine PPM will be expected to be completed as part of your day to day routines.
Other technical skills are desirable as we maintain a wide array of building services including Electrical Services, Heating, Hot Water etc. We work within a number of sectors and it should be noted that the ability to complete a full enhanced DBS clearance will be required due to the nature of some of our sites.
We can offer a negotiable competitive salary and with an increasing workload, overtime is readily available. As part of the role your availability to be part of an on-call rota is required and this typically on a 1 in 6 basis.
