St Andrews new 132 bedroom healthcare facility

Designed with a classical façade, the project will be the largest of its type to be built for St Andrews since their opening in the 1840s.

This secure facility incorporates eight wards comprising of 132 en-suite bedrooms centred around the following:

• Recreational courtyards
• Indoor swimming pool
• Activity hall
• Therapy areas
• Support offices
• Basement parking facilities

For Kershaw the project represents the largest single mechanical services design & builds project undertaken at £7.7 million.

Kershaw undertook the full M&E co-ordination on the project, although the electrical installation was carried out under a separate contract by Hulse electrical.

The RMHF project is the third consecutive contract at St Andrews Northampton having previously completed Malcolm Arnold House and Smyth House.
