Smyth House consists of the demolition of existing Tompkins Centre and the new build of a 45 bed medium secure unit, to house adult females with mental health illness. The new build incorporates office and welfare facilities for staff along with therapy rooms, activity areas, seclusion rooms, extra care units and various group-meeting rooms.

Smyth House incorporates a number of special measures including anti-ligature requirements to all patient areas.

We secured this Design & Build project following on from the successful completion of Malcolm Arnold House for the same client.
