The construction of a new 1,100 place academy specialising in business, enterprise and food technology.  The academy was built on a Brownfield site of a secondary school that had been demolished prior to commencement and has a ground floor area of approximately 7,900m2.

The building has one single storey and two storey teaching blocks linked to dining, assembly and drama halls that are double height spaces. Unusually, the building includes a new church with worship area and associated offices and meeting rooms.

Services include air conditioning, large areas of underfloor heating, natural and mechanical ventilation, full domestic services, above ground drainage and fully integrated BMS system.
