A complex design and build project consisting of the refurbishment of the listed 2 storey Canteen and Admin buildings on the British Aerospace site and a new build linking them together. The new building has a 40 cell custody suite and Magistrates court with office areas for various divisions of the Police formed in the refurbished buildings. The custody suite had to be Home Office approved with many specialist systems.

Generally the heating is provided by radiators and pipe coils within changing and shower areas. Air conditioning is provided to the magistrate’s court and custody areas. There are three fully air conditioned comms rooms due to the extremely complex security and access systems for the custody suite.
